Executive Office
- The Executive Office is responsible for the administration and management of the District of Columbia Courts. Day-to-day operations and staff supervision is delegated to the Clerks of Court for the Court of Appeals and the Superior Court. The Executive Officer oversees all Court System divisions, while providing support generally to the District's judicial system and the two courts specifically. Court System divisions, which provide administrative support to the D.C. Courts, include Administrative Services; Budget and Finance; Center for Education and Training; Court Reporting and Recording; Human Resources; Information Technology; Office of the General Counsel; and Research and Development.
- Executive Office professional staff are responsible for strategic planning and management; intergovernmental relations; public information; emergency preparedness; courthouse security; budget and policy analysis; program development; internal audits; ADA compliance; language access; and information dissemination. The Executive Officer also serves as secretary to the Joint Committee on Judicial Administration.
